Sawat dee kha

27 November 2016 | Thailand, Bangkok
I have been in Thailand now for more than a week and I must say it has been amazing so far.
We have stayed in Bangkok to see and get to know the Asian culture.
Asia is something else; the food is great, the people are so sweet and kind. But it has been pretty warm eventhough this is really their winter season! Bubble tea kept me hydrated enough, haha.
Bangkok is a big busy city that never sleeps. We have probably used every transport you can think off; bus - like ten different ones, open small truck, open big bus, open small bus, taxi, sky train (tram), boat and a really big bus.
The food here is pretty good and spicy for sure! We have breakfast with fruit. We ate lunch and dinner outside on the street. The restaurants are more open in the air and outside!
The culture is something special. They are very nice to us. You greet people with your hand towards eachother, you bow a bit and say as woman "sawatdee kha" or "sawatdee khap" for man. So as woman you end every sentence with "kha" The language is very based on different pronouncing of tones. So
one word can have different meaning if you use another tone.
You don't show the bottom of your feet, that is very impolite.
Because it is the lowest part of your body. The head is very holy, so you don't touch somebodies head either.
So a little update from me. I won't be able to blog all the time but whenever I can I will send a update!
For now I will try to sleep meanwhile a wedding is taking place across the street! ;)
I hope you all are doing amazing!
Love and hugg,
Lindsay
